How Influex collects, uses, stores, and protects information across the creator-brand marketplace.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, username, profile details, social handles, creator metrics, campaign details, messages, and payment-related records. Passwords are stored as secure hashes, never as plain text.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to operate the platform, create and manage accounts, match brands with creators, process subscriptions and collaboration payments, send transactional updates, improve product quality, prevent abuse, and comply with applicable law.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Profile and campaign information may be visible between brands and creators to support collaborations. We share only necessary data with trusted service providers such as Razorpay, email, storage, analytics, monitoring, or legal and compliance providers.
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including HTTPS/TLS, bcrypt password hashing, expiring JWT authentication, rate limiting, restricted database access, and production safety checks. No system is fully risk-free, but we design for careful handling.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You may request access, correction, deletion, or withdrawal of consent where applicable under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and other relevant regulations. To exercise rights, contact us by email.
7. Data Retention
We keep account data while your account is active. Deleted account data is removed within 30 days where possible, except financial records, dispute records, legal records, and anonymised analytics retained for compliance and platform integrity.
8. Children's Privacy
By using Influex, you confirm you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, you are not permitted to use this platform. The platform involves commercial contracts, financial transactions, and content licensing — all of which require legal capacity. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we discover or are notified that a registered user is under 18, we will immediately suspend the account, cancel active collaborations, reverse any pending payments, and delete the user's personal data. 9. Collaboration Data and Disputes
We store collaboration records such as messages, submissions, shipping updates, payment status, contracts, and dispute evidence to operate the platform and review disputes. Influex is an intermediary and not a guarantor of either party's performance.
